When a politician votes on a bill and a verified mirror poll exists on Votier, we calculate the gap between the official position and the constituent majority. This record is permanent and publicly visible.
At 500 verified votes, a poll earns Community Voice status. At 1,000 votes, the relevant official is automatically notified with factual data. These thresholds are one-time events — once triggered, they persist permanently.
Each official’s Public Pressure Score is a weighted average of alignment gaps across all their active mirror polls, weighted by verified vote count. A 10,000-vote poll carries more weight than a 58-vote poll. Scores update in real time.
All calculations are server-side, deterministic, and party-neutral. No editorial language is used. Officials cannot suppress or edit records. The ClearVote Constitution governs every line of code.
